my view

According to my view.

The phrase "my view" can have a view different meanings.  It is either what you can literally see or what you believe, your opinion.  Notice the following:

  1. I think my view on the subject is a little different than yours.
  2. Your view of the game is better than mine.

player

Sachin Tendulkar is the best player.

A "player" is an athlete that plays sports.  Notice the following:

  1. Michael Jordan is one of the best basketball players of all time.
  2. Do you have a favorite football player?

how many times

How many times do you get to try to hit the ball?

"How many times" something happens is the number of occasions it repeats.  In the example, it is asking how many opportunities you have to hit the ball.  Use this phrase in questions.  Notice the following:

  1. How many times has she been married?
  2. How many times have you been to Europe?

you are out

Until you are out you can play.

When "you are out" of a game you have lost.  This can be in cards, sports and board games.  Notice the following:

  1. If you can't play a card then you are out.
  2. If the ball hits you then you are out.

teach me

You can teach me about cricket.

To "teach someone" about something is to tell them the rules, methods, history, etc. of the topic.  Notice the following:

  1. She is teaching me about the history of her country.
  2. Can you teach me how to play the guitar?
