MX 82 Cars

Question: Will people still drive cars in 100 years?

Eoin / England
SpeakerYeah, I think probably in a 100 years time even if cars aren't the main form of transport, I'm sure people will be driving them at least on race tracks or for some form of recreation.

Lori / Canada
SpeakerOoh, in a 100 years! I hope not. I've never really been crazy about cars, and I think the world would be a much better place without them. I hope we'll come up with some kind of better public transportation system in the future.

Shalini / Canada
SpeakerHopefully not. In 100 years! Well, that's hard to say. Possibly but who knows with today's technology we might be hovering up above and hopefully not polluting the air so much, so ... yeah.

Aki / Japan
SpeakerMmm nope. I think they won't be any automobile. I think they'll be a new kind of vehicle. Maybe small planes flying. It's also bad for the environment, so I don't think people will be riding cars anymore.

Jeff / Canada
SpeakerIn 100 years! I guess they will, but they'll probably be really different than the cars we have now. Its hard to imagine what they'll be like but, I think they'll always be some sort of form of transportation, personal transportation that people will use.

Prae / Thailand
SpeakerI don't think so. I think we will be travelling by something else, but it would be interesting though to try to think of what it would look like.

Paul / England
SpeakerYeah, It think people will still drive cars. Whether or not it will be like the cars we use now, I think they will be different but I think it will be similar but maybe the roads will change and obviously the technology will have advanced a lot.
