buddy

I'm with with a good buddy of mine.

A 'buddy' is another name for a friend.  It's most often, but not always, used by males.  Notice the following:

  1. My buddy and I both love football.
  2. Hey buddy!  What's up?

wait on

You have someone wait on you and serve you.

Someone usually 'waits on' us when we have a meal at a restaurant.  They bring food and drink to the table.  Notice the following:

  1. At fast food restaurants, there's nobody to wait on you.
  2. I love to be waited on.  Cooking and washing dishes are not for me.

any chance I can get.

I prefer to eat out any chance I can get.

The phrase 'any chance I can get' is similar in meaning to 'as often as possible'.  Notice the following:

  1. I practice my English with native speakers any chance I can get.
  2. Working part-time and going to school, I sleep any chance I can get.

no comparison

There's absolutely no comparison.

When we like one thing much better than another similar thing, we say there in no comparison.  Notice the following:

  1. There's no comparison between playing Guitar Hero and really playing guitar.
  2. Fast food is no comparison to an old-fashioned home cooked meal.

pick

I would definitely pick eating out.

Here, the word 'pick' has exactly the same meaning as 'choose'.  Notice the following:

  1. If I had to choose a favorite ice cream, I'd pick Strawberry.
  2. If I had to pick a favorite ice cream, I'd choose Strawberry.
