Below is a basic outline of how you can use the listening lessons (Version 5) on elllo. Naturally, there are many ways to do the lessons. This is just one sample.
Listening
1) View to the audio slide show.
Try to listen with text view off.
2) Take the slide quiz. Lower level students can use text view for help.
Reading and Vocabulary
3) Read the transcript. Play the audio and read along.
4) Play the audio notes. Listen to the explanations.
Writing / Speaking
5) If possible, download the lesson worksheet and complete the tasks.
6) Write a journal response to the interview on the lesson worksheet.
Writing / Speaking
7) Visit elllo friends and respond to the video responses.
8) If possible submit a video response.
