Well, I would say the most unusual sport in Kenya is hen fighting or cock fighting. Why I find it unusual is because on that particular day that they have the cock fighting, actually nothing goes on in the village. People psyche themselves up the whole day, and mostly it's drinking illegal alcohol - the traditional brew - and then they let the cocks fight. Now the thing that happens is that they actually gather these chickens and cocks, all the birds, and they throw them out on the field and I don't know if they are encouraged to fight or it's a natural instinct that once they are together they need to fight, and they fight, and the losers are thrown out, until the end there's only two of them, so it's more like a royal rumble in wrestling, so when two finalists get in the field, now that's the whole event. They fight until they decide which cock or which hen is going to the winner, and the funny thing is all the chickens get snapped at except acclimation, but it's fun and unusual. Thank you.
