Apple has announced that its latest computer models, the Mac Book Pro and the Power Book G4, will run off of an Intel chip. The move is significant because Intel chips have traditionally been used in computers using Microsoft windows. The new computers also come installed with iLife, Apple's multimedia software that aims to make creating blogs and websites easier.

A 20 year-old man from California solved the Rubik's cube in 11.13 seconds. The time, taken at a competition in San Francisco, is a new world record. Finalists in the competition received a Rubik's snake puzzle.

A capsule, named Stardust, which was blasted into space in 1999 safely returned to earth this week carrying dust from a comet called Wild 2. Stardust traveled for 7 years and covered almost 3 billion miles. The space capsule returned to earth speeding at a record 29,000 miles per hour but it's parachute slowed it down to just 10 mph before landing.

A Japanese man who was afraid to take an alcohol breath test sped through a police checkpoint. The police chased after him and found his car had rolled off of the side of the road and was upside down in a ditch. The strange part is that the man was well under the legal alcohol limit so he had no reason to worry.

An Indonesian couple who had never actually met in person decided to tie the knot. The couple, who had only contacted each other online and by telephone didn't even meet at their wedding ceremony. The groom was in the US and his bride was in Indonesia as they were pronounced husband and wife in an online video conference. You may now kiss the bride.
