Hello. Thanks you for calling the Local Live House. Here is our weekly music line-up.
Monday night is Battle of the Bands. Local bands come and play and the live audience chooses the best band of the night. Bands wishing to enter the competition must register online by Sunday evening. Admission is five dollars and doors open seven and bands begin playing at eight.
Tuesday night is Jazz Night. Each week a new jazz band plays for a one-hour set. Most jazz bands come from out-of-town and are on tour. Admission is ten dollars, but admission includes one free drink. This week's featured band is the City Scrapes from Boston. Doors open at eight.
Wednesday night is Country Western Night. The local band Crying Cowboys play the latest hits on the Country Western Charts. All women receive a 50% discount on the sixteen dollar admission charge. Country Western Night also includes free square dance lessons and prizes for best boots.
On Thursday we have our Unplugged Night. Local and visiting acoustic artists come and play their classical and non-traditional instruments. This week we will have Joey Carda playing the violin. Doors open at seven. Admission is five dollars.
Friday is Rave NIght. Local DJs and Hip Hop artists play their latest beats and the floor is open for club dancing starting at ten. Admission is eleven dollars but university students get half-off. You must be at least eighteen to enter.
Lastly, Saturday is our open-mic night where anyone can take the stage and show off their talent. A karaoke box with all the latest hits and golden oldies is available on stage to accompany would be singers. Admission is free for all. Doors open at six.
