Part 1: Guided Listening 🎧

Welcome to Guided Listening.

This is the first and easiest activity in each lesson.

You listen to a short conversation and do a quiz.

We slow it down and make it longer.

A 1-minute video becomes about a 10-minute listening lesson.

Why we do this

The goal is simple:

More listening time

You hear:

• More English
• The same grammar many times
• The same words many times

This helps you learn naturally.

What “guided” means

This is guided learning.

The teacher does the activity with you.

• The teacher reads the questions
• The teacher explains the answers
• You listen and follow

This gives you extra listening practice.

How to use it

You can use this lesson in many ways:

• Listen and do the quiz by yourself
• Watch first, then do the quiz
• Best: do the quiz with the teacher

You can also listen only.

You do not need to look at the screen.

This is good for:

• The gym
• Going to work or school
• Walking
• Short study time
